According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Turin Public Prosecutor could question Cristiano Ronaldo as part of the investigation for false accounting involving Juventus.

Andrea Agnelli, Pavel Nedved, Fabio Paratici and other current and former Juventus directors are under investigation for alleged irregularities in the club’s accounting.

Somehow, former Bianconeri star Cristiano Ronaldo is also involved, although the Portuguese star is not among those investigated.

The Turin Public Prosecutor’s Office is looking into a case concerning CR7 and a ‘secret’ agreement with the Old Lady.

Juventus investigation: Ronaldo and the ‘secret document’

According to multiple reports in Italy, there are phone taps where the Juventus directors talk about a ‘famous document that should not have theoretically existed,’ but investigators have not yet found the document and Juventus directors questioned by the Prosecutor reportedly failed to explain the nature of the agreement with Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Portuguese star was among the players who gave up their salaries in March, April May and June 2020 to help the club during the peak of the COVID pandemic, but in the event of a restart of the activity, they would have discussed the integration of the remuneration in the following year.

However, the agreement could even concern severance pay given to Ronaldo by Juventus when the Portuguese ace returned to Manchester United over the summer.

The Turin Public Prosecutor wants to have a clear idea about the agreement because it was not published or communicated to the competent authorities. Therefore, Cristiano Ronaldo could be questioned over the coming weeks to give a clear picture of the situation.

2 thought on “Prosecutor to question Cristiano Ronaldo on Juventus’ ‘secret document’?”
  1. “The Turin Public Prosecutor wants to have a clear idea about the agreement”

The general public also wants to have a clear idea of what is going on.

So maybe hold off the mud slinging and the media circus until the prosecutors themselves have an idea?

  2. No, its a part of the process against juve. Prices, comissions and plusvalenzes – they all do that, but “secret” documents is juve thing. Or good start of setting fire
