Roma have identified Spartak Moscow talent Quincy Promes as the alternative if Leicester City refuse to sell Riyad Mahrez.
Director of sport Monchi warned this week that the €35m bid, including bonuses, was the final offer for Mahrez and he’ll wait until midnight on August 15 for a formal reply.
In the meantime, he is looking around for other options and seems to have settled on a Dutch international.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Giallorossi have chosen Promes, the 25-year-old Spartak Moscow winger.
He arrived from FC Twente in 2014 for €11.5m and the price-tag is believed to be in the region of €25m.
Promes scored 12 goals with 10 assists in 26 Russian Premier League games last season.
The current campaign has already started and he has five goals in seven competitive appearances.
