Portuguese referee Pedro Proença has been assigned for the Euro 2012 quarter-final between Italy and England.

The 32-year-old official has been an international since 2003 and most notably was in charge of the Bayern Munich-Chelsea Champions League Final on May 19.

He is supported by an all-Portuguese staff of linesmen Bertino Miranda and Ricardo Santos, plus goalline assistants Manuel De Sousa and Duarte Gomes.

England and Italy go head-to-head in Kiev on Sunday night, kick-off 19.45 UK time.

Italian referee Nicola Rizzoli has been assigned to the Spain-France quarter-final on Saturday, while Howard Webb officiates Czech Republic-Portugal and Damir Skomina takes Germany-Greece.
