Jose Mourinho’s Roma are looking to bounce back from their derby defeat with a strong result against Sassuolo this evening.

The match between the Neroverdi and the Giallorossi kicks off at 17.30 UK time at the Mapei Stadium in Reggio Emilia.

Alessio Dionisi won’t be able to count on the injured Mert Muldur and Gregoire Defrel, and Domenico Berardi is still in doubt due to a muscle issue. Things have been a little tough in the last 30 days for Sassuolo, who’ve only won one of their last five league outings, losing the other four.

Jose Mourinho’s Roma are still without Leonardo Spinazzola, Ebrima Darboe, Lorenzo Pellegrini, Paulo Dybala and Georginio Wijnaldum. The Giallorossi have lost two of their last three league games, including the ever-tense Derby della Capitale, so they’ll be desperate to return to winning ways in Reggio Emilia.

Last season, Roma beat Sassuolo 2-1 at home and drew 2-2 away.

Probable starting line-ups for Sassuolo vs Roma

Sassuolo (4-3-3): Consigli; Toljan, Erlic, Ferrari, Rogerio; Frattesi, Lopez, Thorstvedt; D’Andrea, Pinamonti, Laurienté.

Roma (3-4-1-2): Rui Patricio; Mancini, Smalling, Ibanez; Celik, Cristante, Camara, Zalewski; Volpato; Abraham, Zaniolo.
