Milan will be hoping to keep up the pressure on league leaders Napoli with a win away to top four hopefuls Lazio.

The match between the Biancocelesti and the Rossoneri kicks off at 19.45 UK time at the Stadio Olimpico.

Lazio recovered after their sluggish start to 2023 and picked up back to back wins over Sassuolo and Bologna, restoring some confidence after tough outings against Lecce and Empoli. The 15-point deduction to Juventus gives Maurizio Sarri’s side a greater chance in the race for a top four finish.

Sarri will not be able to count on talismanic striker Ciro Immobile and talented defender Mario Gila, both of whom are out injured.

Milan have started to show signs of inconsistency in recent weeks, drawing three of their last five league outings and losing in both the Supercoppa Italiana and the Coppa Italia Round of 16. Stefano Pioli’s side will be hungry to return to winning ways as they look to close the 12-point gap to Napoli.

The Rossoneri are without Mike Maignan, Alessandro Florenzi, Fode Ballo-Toure, Theo Hernandez and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who are all sidelined with various injuries.
