Best of the rest Inter will be hoping to put themselves 15 points behind league leaders Napoli with a win over an inconsistent Udinese side.

The match between the Nerazzurri and the Bianconeri kicks off at 19.45 UK time at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milan.

Simone Inzaghi’s side have emerged as the team closest to a high-flying Napoli in the league table, although this says little considering that Luciano Spalletti’s side are entering the weekend 18 points clear of second place thanks to their win over Sassuolo.

Inter have only lost once in the league in 2023, falling to Empoli 1-0, and they’ll be keen to try and stay in the slipstream of the Partenopei, whose Scudetto charge seemingly can’t be stopped.

The Nerazzurri cannot count on the injured Joaquin Correa, and Robin Gosens is also in doubt due to an adductor issue.

Udinese started the season on the front foot but started to slow up in the run-up to the World Cup break. In the new year, things have been much more difficult for the Friulian outfit, who’ve only won once in 2023.

The Bianconeri are without star forward Gerard Deulofeu and Macedonian striker Ilija Nestorovski, both of whom are out injured.

When these two teams met in the first half of this season, Udinese fought hard for an impressive 3-1 win at home.

Probable line-ups for Inter vs Udinese
