This third weekend of Serie A actions sees Inter host Fiorentina, Juventus travel to Empoli, Torino take on Genoa and Lecce face Salernitana.

The first round of games – Torino-Genoa and Inter-Fiorentina – kick off at 17.30 UK time, whilst the latter set of matches – Empoli-Juventus and Lecce-Salernitana – start at 19.45.

For the clash at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, the Nerazzurri are without defender Francesco Acerbi, and Henrikh Mkhitaryan is also in doubt due to a knee issue. The Viola cannot count on Gaetano Castrovilli, Jonathan Ikone, Antonin Barak and Abdelhamid Sabiri.

Inter’s season has started well, with wins over Monza and Cagliari. Fiorentina’s start has been a little more shaky, thrashing Genoa 4-1 in the opener before drawing Lecce 2-2.

Ivan Juric’s Torino cannot rely on the injured Antonio Sanabria and Koffi Djidji, whilst Alessandro Vogliacco and Junior Messias are both unavailable for Genoa.

The Granata were held to a 0-0 draw in their first game of the campaign and lost to Milan 4-1 in their second, whilst the Ligurian side lost to Fiorentina 4-1 but beat Lazio 1-0.

Empoli will be without the injured Elia Caprile and Daniel Maldini, whilst Juventus cannot count on Wojciech Szczesny and Mattia De Sciglio.

The Tuscan side’s season has started poorly, with losses to Hellas Verona and Monza. Juventus outclassed Udinese in their campaign opener but disappointed in a 1-1 draw with Bologna.

Lecce have a fully fit squad for their third Serie A outing but the same cannot be said for Salernitana, who are without Flavius Daniliuc and Giulio Maggiore.

The Puglian side beat Lazio in their first game of the campaign and drew Fiorentina 2-2 away, whilst Salernitana picked up two draws against Roma and Udinese.
