Milan will be looking to restore some confidence after a tough Champions League outing in tonight’s Serie A clash with Hellas Verona.

The match between the Gialloblu and the Rossoneri kicks off at 19.45 UK time at the Stadio Marcantonio Bentegodi.

Stefano Pioli’s side shined in a fun 2-0 win over Juventus last weekend but their moods were dampened in a sobering 2-0 loss to Chelsea at home. The defeat leaves Milan at risk of missing out on the knock-out stages, so they’ll be hoping to bounce back against Verona today.

Former defender Salvatore Bocchetti will oversee his first Hellas Verona match this evening and will be dreaming of pulling off the upset. The Gialloblu have started the season incredibly poorly and currently sit 18th in the table, losing six of their nine league outings so far this campaign.

The Gialloblu have a number of players sidelined with injury, including Diego Coppola, Pawel Dawidowicz, Darko Lazovic, Ivan Ilic and Kevin Lasagna. Federico Ceccherini is unavailable through suspension.

Milan are still navigating the choppy waters of an injury crisis and cannot count on Mike Maignan, Davide Calabria, Alessandro Florenzi, Alexis Saelemaekers, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Charles De Ketelaere. Simon Kjaer is also in doubt for the clash.

Probable Serie A line-ups for Hellas Verona vs Milan

Hellas Verona (3-4-2-1): Montipo; Hien, Gunter, Cabal; Faraoni, Tameze, Miguel Veloso, Doig; Verdi, Hrustic; Henry.

Milan (4-2-3-1): Tatarusanu; Kalulu, Gabbia, Tomori, Hernandez; Bennacer, Tonali; Messias, Diaz, Leao; Giroud.
