Maurizio Sarri’s Lazio are looking to stay in the thick of the top four race with a win over a struggling Hellas Verona.

The match between the Gialloblu and the Biancocelesti kicks off at 17.30 UK time at the Stadio Marcantonio Bentegodi in Verona.

Almost everything has gone wrong for Hellas Verona this season; the team have been led by three coaches since the start of the campaign, with Marco Zaffaroni being the current incumbent, and they’ve only picked up 13 points from 20 games, putting them at serious risk of relegation.

The Gialloblu will be unable to count on Davide Faraoni, Miguel Veloso, Thomas Henry and Ajdin Hrustic, all of whom are out with injuries.

Other than a few slips, Sarri’s second season with Lazio has been an improvement over his debut campaign and the Roman outfit now have a serious shot of securing a top four finish, benefitting from Milan’s collapse and Juventus 15-point deduction.

The only absence for the Biancocelesti is veteran defender Stefan Radu, out with a calf issue

Earlier in the season, Lazio secured a comfortable 2-0 win over Hellas Verona in Rome.
