Napoli are looking to strengthen their grip at the top of the Serie A table as they travel north to face Cremonese this afternoon.

The match between the Grigiorossi and the Partenopei kicks off at 17.00 UK time at the Stadio Giovanni Zini in Cremona.

The newly promoted side have a number of absences heading into today’s tough match, having to do without Vlad Chiriches, Paolo Ghiglione and Jack Hendry, all of whom are out injured. David Okereke is also in doubt due to a muscle issue.

Things are a little less concerning for Luciano Spalletti, whose only Napoli absence is star striker Victor Osimhen, still out with a hamstring injury.

Napoli come into this match off the back of their thrilling 6-1 away win over Ajax in the Champions League on Tuesday and they’ll be expecting to maintain their momentum ahead of the return clash against the Dutch giants.

Cremonese’s last match was a hard-fought 1-1 draw with Lecce and they’re still searching for their first win of the Serie A season.

Probable line-ups for Cremonese vs Napoli

Cremonese (4-2-3-1): Radu; Sernicola, Bianchetti, Lochosvili, Valeri; Castagnetti, Ascacibar; Zanimacchia, Meite, Afena-Gyan; Ciofani.

Napoli (4-3-3): Meret; Di Lorenzo, Ostigard, Kim, Mario Rui; Zambo Anguissa, Lobotka, Zielinski; Politano, Simeone, Kvaratskhelia.
