Tonight’s opponents are now tied on games played and one point separates the two ahead of their direct clash in Verona.

Ivan Juric will try to manage his players fitness in the best possible way and could make some changes from the match against Cagliari.

German defender Koray Günter seems set for a return in defence, next to Amir Rrahmani and Marash Kumbulla.

Miguel Veloso should be back in the middle of the park, taking Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu’s place in the side next to Sofyan Amrabat.

Matteo Pessina could struggle to make the game, whilst Fabio Borini is banned after his suspension against Cagliari last time. Samuel Di Carmine looks set to get the nod, but Mariusz Stepinski and Giampaolo Pazzini fight him for a place in the side.

There will be some changes from the Coppa Italia Final also for Gattuso and Ospina should return in goal after having served a ban, whilst Nikola Maksimovic and Kalidou Koulibaly has been confirmed at the back.

Giovanni Di Lorenzo takes his place at the right, with Portuguese wing-back Mario Rui at left. Matteo Politano seems to beat Jose Callejon to a place at the right in attack, with Milik in the middle and captain Lorenzo Insigne out left.

Diego Demme has established himself in the middle of the park and is expecting to be accompanied by Fabian Ruiz and Piotr Zielinski.
