Mazzarri has put pressure on his men placing a lot of importance on the match against Genoa, as he is sticking with Andrea Belotti in the attack against the Rossoblu on Thursday night.

Cristian Ansaldi, Daniele Baselli, Simone Edera, Iago Falque, Lyanco and Vittorio Parigini will be missing through injuries for the home side.

Belotti will be partnered by Simone Zaza in Mazzarri’s preferred 3-5-2, as Verdi is absent through a suspension.

Sirigu is expected to stay in goal behind a back-three consisting of Armando Izzo, Nocolas Nkoulou and Bremer, with Diego Laxalt at the left and Temitayo Aina at the right, as Tomas Rincon will control the middle of the park.

Nicola’s team arrive in numbers and are only without long-term absentee Christian Kouame.

After an upturn against Sassuolo during a controversial opening of the year they will come with a strong line-up to get past the Granata and into the last 16 of the Coppa Italia.

Andrea Favilli is expected to pair Andrea Pinamonti up front in an equal 3-5-2, looking to get Paolo Ghiglione and Antonio Barreca going on the sides.
