Dusan Vlahovic may start on the bench in tonight’s Serie A clash between Juventus and Sassuolo, while Alessio Dionisi only has one doubt in defence.

It kicks off at 19.45 at the Mapei Stadium in Reggio Emilia.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Max Allegri could rest Vlahovic, Juventus’ best scorer in 2022, with six goals in ten Serie A games. Only Ciro Immobile (9) and Victor Osimhen (7) have more in the process.

The Tuscan tactician is short of options in midfield, where Adrien Rabiot and Denis Zakaria are the only players available, so Danilo will once again play in midfield. Leonardo Bonucci is the favourite over Giorgio Chiellini in defence, while Luca Pellegrini should get the nod over Alex Sandro. Juan Cuadrado has been ruled out of the game with a slight muscle injury.

Juventus have the worst conversion rate among the top 10 teams in Serie A: (10.44%), 50 goals with 479 shots. The Old Lady won the last three away games and hasn’t managed four in a row since February 2019.

Domenico Berardi returns to action for Sassuolo after missing the last two games. Either Kaan Ayhan or Vlad Chiriches will start in defence.

Sassuolo won the last three home Serie A games and have never managed four successive victories at the Mapei in history. However, their last clean sheet at home dates back to September 26.

Juventus-linked Davide Frattesi scored in the reverse fixture but has yet to find the net in 2022 and his last goal contribution was on January 9 (assist against Empoli).
