Samp host Gian Piero Gasperini’s Atalanta at 17.30 UK time, while Monza play their first ever Serie A game against the Granata at 19.45,

Sampdoria lost the first official game of the season in the last four years and are the team with the most defeats in Serie A in 2022 (13 out of 19). Atalanta’s Caleb Okoli (21) could make his Serie A debut, while La Dea’s only significant signing of the summer – Ederson – is out of action with an injury.

The transfer window has been very different for Monza and Torino. The Brianzoli have signed more than ten players with proven Serie A experience and most of them will start tonight.

On the other hand, Ivan Juric has often complained that his Torino side is still not complete. He was involved in a scuffle with Torino director Davide Vagnati last month. The Granata haven’t yet signed a replacement for Gleison Bremer while Sasa Lukic has asked to leave and wasn’t called up for tonight’s game.
