New Roma signing Andrea Belotti goes on the bench against Monza tonight, while Zeki Çelik is tipped to start his first game with the Giallorossi.

It kicks off at 19.45 at a sold-out Stadio Olimpico.

Nicolò Zaniolo and Gini Wijnaldum are injured for Roma and new signing Belotti is expected to start on the bench.

The last time Roma and Monza met in league games was in the ’50s (two Roma wins in Serie B). The Brianzoli won the only Coppa Italia meeting against the Giallorossi in 1988.

Roma are unbeaten in the last nine home Serie A games and could reach 10 points after four matches for the first time since 2014-15. They have the best defence in Serie A (one goal conceded), while no team has conceded more than Monza so far (eight).

Giovanni Stroppa is already under pressure and must do without Andrea Ranocchia, Marco D’Alessandro and Pablo Marì. Marlon is available, but still not 100% fit. Benevento were the last newly-promoted team to lose all the opening four Serie A games of the season in 2016-17.

Roma-Monza, probable line-ups

Roma (3-4-2-1): Rui Patricio; Mancini, Smalling, Ibanez; Celik, Matic, Pellegrini, Zalewski; Dybala, El Shaarawy; Abraham.

Monza (3-5-2): Di Gregorio; Caldirola, Marrone, Carboni; Birindelli, Colpani, Sensi, Pessina, Carlos Augusto; Caprari, Petagna.
