Napoli host newly promoted Venezia at the Stadio Diego Maradona and Luciano Spalleti is expected to start with Matteo Politano, Victor Osimhen and Lorenzo Insigne in attack.

Spalletti’s Napoli host Paolo Zanetti’s newly promoted side in the opening game and Mattia Caldara is expected to go straight into the starting line-up of Venezia.
Hirving Lozano is not ready to play and Dries Mertens is still out for the home side, meaning Politano gets a place in the starting XI.
Osimhen and Insigne are certain to get the go ahead, with Lobotka in the middle next to Fabian Ruiz and Piotr Zielinski.
Kostas Manolas, who has reportedly been pushing for a return to Greece, is expected to start in defence with Kalidou Kouliably in Spalletti’s 4-3-3 formation.
Zanetti should give Caldara a place in the heart of the defence, in a similar 4-3-3 formation, where Francesco Forte is leading the attacking trident.
