Napoli will qualify for the Champions League Round of 16 with a win over RB Salzburg and might go all out attack with Lorenzo Insigne, Hirving Lozano and Dries Mertens.

Napoli will qualify for the Champions League Round of 16 with a win over RB Salzburg and might go all out attack with Lorenzo Insigne, Hirving Lozano and Dries Mertens.

The group game kicks off at the Stadio San Paolo at 20.00 GMT, following Napoli's 3-2 win in Austria.

It looks like both Arkadiusz Milik and Fernando Llorente could be placed on the bench to give space for Lozano and Insigne. The Italian attacker came off the bench to win the match at the Red Bull Arena in Austria last time and could be given the nod to start in a pacy line-up for this week's home match.

After a turbulent week, Napoli have been placed into a training retreat by President Aurelio De Laurentiis and will be looking to respond immediately with a European boost.

Ancelotti is expected to line up in a 4-4-2 and in Allan’s absence, it could hand Eljif Elmas an opportunity in the middle, in stern competition with Piotr Zielinski.

The Poland international has started nine league matches, but only once in the Champions League so far this season.

RB Salzburg need a result in Naples and will play on the front foot in a 4-2-3-1 formation, adding three offensive players behind the leading goal scorer in the Champions League Erling Haaland.

The visitors have been able to utilise the speed and flair of players like Hwang Hee-Chan when they break their opponents in Group E and will be looking to continue with a trio including Dominic Szoboszlai and Takumi Minamino behind the Norwegian Juventus target.

In front of the defence they should be supported and balanced by Enock Mwepu and Zlatko Junuzovic. Salzburg need three points to keep in touch with the leading teams in the group.

Liverpool are on six points after three rounds, three points above Salzburg in third.

Probable line-ups

Napoli (4-4-2): Meret; Di Lorenzo, Manolas, Koulibaly, Mario Rui; Callejon, Fabian Ruiz, Zielinski, Insigne; Lozano, Mertens

RB Salzburg (4-2-3-1): Coronel; Kristensen, Ramalho, Wober, Ulmer; Mwepo, Junuzovic; Minamino, Szoboszlai, Hwang; Haaland.
