Franck Kessié returns to Milan‘s starting line-up against Torino and Olivier Giroud is expected to get the nod up front.

Milan host Torino at the Stadio San Siro tonight. It kicks off at 19.45 UK time.

Kessié returns to action after missing the last two games. Last week, he sat out the Champions League clash against Porto, serving a one-match ban and didn’t play at Bologna because of flu.

He is now fully recovered and will start against Torino in the middle of the park. Alessio Romagnoli is likely to replace Simon Kjaer in centre defence and Olivier Giroud will get the nod in the Rossoneri attack.

Stefano Pioli can count on Theo Hernandez, who has recovered from COVID, but the Frenchman will come off the bench as a substitute in the second half.

Brahim Diaz has recovered from COVID, but he won’t be available tonight while Ante Rebic and Mike Maignan are still dealing with injuries and are out of action.

Tommaso Pobega, a Milan loanee, will start in midfield for Torino along with Sasa Lukic.

Cristian Ansaldi is out of action with a muscle injury and so are Marko Pjaca and Simone Verdi, while Rolando Mandragora will return in December after sustaining meniscus surgery.

  1. I very much doubt that it will be easy, specially since we have many key players out. Also this Torino is not the same as last season, Juric is a solid coach.
