I’m actually excited to see Pellegri start. As great as Ibra is I feel like sometimes the opposition base their defensive gameplay around him. Sassuolo playing a high line knowing they would catch up to him, for example. Whereas with PP I don’t suppose they would have a great deal of tactical knowledge about him so the element of surprise/unknown is there. Big responsibility is on Pellegri to take this game and show he deserves to be a starter. Messias did it. Saelamaekers did it. Tonali has done it. Tomori did it.
