Milan are without Mike Maignan, Theo Hernandez and Brahim Diaz, as Daniel Maldini seems set to start against Hellas Verona.

Stefano Pioli received more bad news yesterday, as Brahim Diaz was added to the list of absentees, already including France internationals Theo Hernandez and Mike Maignan.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be assessed today but is not expected to start the game. Davide Calabria and Olivier Giroud, however, should be available for the Rossoneri.

Maldini seems set to start in the attacking trident with Alexis Saelemaekers and Ante Rebic, while Alessio Romagnoli should join Fikayo Tomori in the heart of the defence.

Milan have signed Antonio Mirante after Maignan’s injury, but Ciprian Tatarusanu should get the go ahead against Igor Tudor’s men.

Verona arrive after a 4-0 win over Spezia and shouldn’t make too many changes ahead of the big game in Milan.

Miguel Veloso has returned and pushes for a place in the line-up, but the coach is expected to start with the Portuguese on the bench.

Probable line-ups: Milan vs. Hellas Verona

Milan (4-2-3-1): Tatarusanu; Calabria, Tomori, Romagnoli, Ballo-Toure; Kessie, Bennacer; Saelemaekers, Maldini, Rebic; Giroud

Hellas Verona (3-4-1-2): Montipo; Dawidowicz, Gunter, Magnani; Faraoni, Bessa, Ilic, Lazovic; Barak; Caprari, Simeone
