Italy host Switzerland at the Stadio Olimpico in their second group stage game of Euro 2020 with Roberto Mancini who could start Rafael Toloi to replace the injured Alessandro Florenzi.

It kicks off at 8 pm UK time and a win would allow the Azzurri to book their place in the round of 16 with a game to spare.

Florenzi sustained a calf injury against Turkey in the debut game of the competition on Friday and either Giovanni Di Lorenzo or Rafael Toloi could replace the 30-year-old. However, the Atalanta defender seems the favourite to get the nod tonight.

Marco Verratti is recovering from a knee injury and is once again expected to sit out the Olimpico clash. It remains to be seen if he will be available starting on the bench.

“Marco has been training with the group for three to four days. Let’s see, there are still two training sessions left and there’s still time to understand a few things,” Mancini said at a press conference on Tuesday.

Manuel Locatelli is likely to replace Verratti in the middle of the park, starting alongside Jorginho and Nicolò Barella.

Lorenzo Insigne and Ciro Immobile scored one goal each in the opener against Turkey and will once again feature in the attacking trident with Domenico Berardi who forced a Merih Demiral own goal on Friday.
