Genoa are desperate for three points, while Massimiliano Allegri will rotate his Juventus squad ahead of Wednesday’s Coppa Italia Final against Inter.

It kicks off at 20.00 UK time at the Stadio Ferraris. Genoa are four points behind Salernitana and need a win to keep their survival hopes alive. They are without Nikola Maksimovic, Stefano Sturaro, Zinho Vanheusden,  Yayah Kallon, Andrea Cambiaso and  Nicolò Rovella.

No draws between Juve and Genoa at the Ferraris since March 2012.

Genoa have the worst attack in Serie A with only 25 goals. They have scored 68% of their goals in the final 30 minutes, but Juventus have the best defensive record in the same period with only 10 conceded. Mattia Destro has never found the net against Juventus in 14 Serie A games.

Juan Cuadrado returns for the Old Lady, but Luca Pellegrini is injured, same as Federico Chiesa, Kaio Jorge, Weston McKennie and Manuel Locatelli. Fabio Miretti, 18, will start his second successive Serie A game. Danilo and Matthijs de Ligt will rest. The Brazilian didn’t even travel with the team to Genoa.

Moise Kean is favourite over Federico Bernardeschi in attack, Arthur over Denis Zakaria in midfield and Cuadrado over Alex Sandro in defence. If the latter starts, then Mattia De Sciglio will play at right-back.

  1. Strange to see that Genoa keeps playing Portanova, our ex youth player, who’s on trial for rape.

Also, wondering what Allegri haters are going to come up with now that Miretti gets another start. Didn’t he also give other teenagers like Kean, Bentancur and Coman their full debut? No no noo that can’t be!

  2. Zambrotta
most of those haters aren’t Juve fans. It’s more of a despirate try do make Max look bad. But we all know, that he’s on the right track.

  3. Just keep calm, Allegri and management are rebuilding the team, this is going to take time and effort. If there is a change, they will have to start again. Just keep going with this and lets see how we get on.
