Check out the probable line-ups for today’s Serie A first round clashes between Fiorentina-Cremonese and SpeziaEmpoli.

The match between the Viola and the newly promoted side kicks off at 17.30 UK time at the Stadio Artemio Franchi in Florence. Spezia’s game against Empoli starts later at 19.45 at the Stadio Alberto Picco.

Vincenzo Italiano is hoping to kick off his second season in Florence in style following a decent summer transfer window, but he won’t be able to count on either Igor or Gaetano Castrovilli, who are both out injured. New signing Luka Jovic, who arrived from Real Madrid, is expected to start.

Cremonese are ready for their first topflight campaign in over two decades and they’ll be hoping to survive a tough test in Tuscany. Emanuele Valeri and Michele Castagnetti are both unavailable for the Lombardy side.
