Bologna will look to Marko Arnautovic in their first home game since Sinisa Mihajlovic announced a new cycle of treatment for leukaemia at the end of March.

The Rossoblu collected a 0-0 draw against Milan last week with Sinisa’s assistant Emilio De Leo in charge. The 44-year-old will oversee the team at the Stadio Dall’Ara tonight. The Rossoblu won the last six Serie A games against Samp, scoring at least two goals per game in the process.

They are without the injured Lorenzo De Silvestri, Kingsley and Federico Santander. Bologna haven’t scored in the last four Serie A games. The last time it happened was in May 2011.

Riccardo Orsolini has scored three goals against the Blucerchiati, his favourite victim in Serie A along with Sassuolo. However, the Italy international hasn’t found the net at the Dall’Ara since May 2021.

Francesco Caputo will lead Samp’s attack with coach Marco Giampaolo looking for his 100th win in Serie A as a coach. It would be quite an achievement, given that Sampdoria‘s last win in Bologna dates back to November 2003.

The Blucerchiati must cope without Albin Ekdal, Andrea Conti, Sebastian Giovinco, Mikkel Damsgaard and Manolo Gabbiadini.
