The second round of Europa League action sees Atalanta on the road for their clash with Sporting CP and a recovering Roma host Swiss hopefuls Servette.

The match between Sporting and Atalanta kicks off at 17.45 UK time at the Estadio Jose Alvalade in Lisbon, with Roma hosting Servette at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome at 20.00.

Sporting vs Atalanta

Sporting’s Europa League campaign started with a tense 2-1 comeback win over Sturm Graz. Domestically they are undefeated, having won six of their seven league outings. The Portuguese side cannot count on the injured Jerry St. Juste and Sebastian Coates.

Atalanta cruised to a comfortable 2-0 win over Rakow Czestochowa in their European opener last month. In Serie A, the team sit sixth after seven games, having picked up 13 points from four wins and a draw. Gian Piero Gasperini’s side are without Gianluca Scamacca and El Bilal Toure.

Roma vs Servette

Roma worked hard to edge out a 2-1 win over FC Sheriff in the first game of their Europa League campaign. Things have been difficult in the league but Jose Mourinho’s side will be hoping to generate some momentum from their 2-0 win over Frosinone.

The Giallorossi have a long list of absences heading into the match, being without Marash Kumbulla, Diego Llorente, Chris Smalling, Tammy Abraham and Renato Sanches.

Servette have also suffered a disappointing start to their season, losing to Slavia Prague 2-0 in their European opener. In the Swiss Super League, the team sit eighth on 10 points, having won just two of their first nine matches.

The Swiss side cannot count on Alexander Lyng, Jeremy Frick, Anthony Baron and Theo Magnin, all of whom are out injured.
