Roma will be hungry for revenge in their must-win Europa League clash against Ludogorets tonight.

The match between the Giallorossi and the Bulgarian outfit kicks off at 20.00 UK time at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome.

Jose Mourinho’s side fell to an incredibly frustrating 2-1 loss to Ludogorets in their European opener back in September, a result that has always left them on the back foot in the race for the knock-out spots. Roma edged out a tiring 3-1 win over Hellas Verona on the weekend, sapping some energy ahead of tonight’s vital clash.

Ludogorets currently sit second in the Bulgarian First League and cruised to a comfortable 3-1 win over Septemvri on the weekend. They’ll be dreaming of an upset in the Italian capital to take them to the Round of 16.

Mourinho cannot count on the injured Paulo Dybala, Georginio Wijnaldum, Leonardo Spinazzola and Ebrima Darboe.

Talented winger Kiril Despodov is unavailable for Ludogorets this evening due to a thigh issue.
