Jose Mourinho’s Roma are hoping to get revenge on Real Betis in their tough Europa League clash this evening.

The match between the Verdiblancos and the Giallorossi kicks off at 17.45 UK time at the Estadio Benito Villamarín.

Roma had a difficult evening against Real Betis in their first meeting in Italy last week, conceding a late second goal in the dying minutes of the match and losing Nicolo Zaniolo to a red card in extra time. Mourinho was furious with his squad and has been working since to fire them up for the return match in Seville.

Real Betis’ only absence is winger Juanmi, who is out with a torn ankle ligament. Roma have to do without Zeki Celik, Ebrima Darboe, Georginio Wijnaldum, Paulo Dybala and the suspended Zaniolo. Rick Karsdorp is also in doubt, only recently returning from injury.

The Spanish side currently sit top of Group C with nine points whilst Roma are stuck in third with three, one behind second place Ludogorets.

Probable Europa League line-ups for Real Betis vs Roma

Real Betis (4-2-3-1): Bravo; Ruibal, Pezzella, Luiz Felipe, Miranda; Rodriguez, Guardado; Joaquin, Canales, Luiz Henrique; William José.

Roma (3-4-1-2): Rui Patricio; Mancini, Smalling, Ibanez; Zalewski, Cristante, Matic, Spinazzola; Pellegrini; Belotti, Abraham.

  1. HOPEFULLY, ROMA WILL TURN IN A BETTER PERFORMANCE THAT ON THE HOME LEG EVEN THOUGH THEY HAVE TO PLAY WITHOUT SUSPENDED ZANIO
