Juventus kick off their quest for European redemption in their Europa League play-off first leg against FC Nantes this evening.

The match between the Bianconeri and La Maison Jaune kicks off at 20:00 UK time at the Allianz Stadium in Turin.

Juventus’ 15-point deduction has left them 9th in the Serie A table after 22 games, making a top four finish and qualification to the Champions League unlikely. One path back to Europe’s premier club competition would be to win the Europa League, something Massimiliano Allegri is clearly keeping in mind.

The Old Lady will have to do without Paul Pogba, Fabio Miretti and Arkadiusz Milik, all of whom are out injured.

Nantes were forced to go through the Europa League play-offs after finishing second in a group containing SC Freiburg, Qarabag FK and Olympiacos. The team currently sit 13th in Ligue 1 and are 10 points clear from the relegation zone.

The French outfit’s only absence is left back Quentin Merlin, out with a torn adductor muscle.

Probable line-ups for Juventus vs Nantes:

Juventus (3-5-2): Szczesny; Gatti, Bremer, Danilo; De Sciglio, Fagioli, Locatelli, Rabio, Kostic; Di Maria, Vlahovic.

Nantes (4-2-3-1): Lafont; Centonze, Girotto, Castelletto, Corchia; Sissoko, Chirivella; Blas, Mollet, Guessand; Mohamed.
