Lazio will need to fight to the last minute with Feyenoord for a spot in the Europa League knock-out stages this evening.

The match between the Dutch outfit and the Biancocelesti kicks off at 17.45 UK time at De Kuip in Rotterdam.

Maurizio Sarri was unhappy with the postponement of Feyenoord’s Eredivisie match on the weekend, allowing them to have a full week’s rest ahead of their final Europa League outing. Lazio’s weekend game did not inspire hope, being a lethargic 3-1 loss to Salernitana

The Biancocelesti’s only absence is star striker Ciro Immobile, out with a hamstring injury, allowing Sarri to give a chance to young talent Luka Romero, who could make his first start of the season.

Feyenoord cannot count on Moroccan winger Oussama Idrissi, also sidelined with a hamstring issue, and Fredrik Bjorkan is also in doubt.

A win takes Lazio through to the Europa League Round of 16 and a draw is also good enough should Sturm Graz not beat FC Midtjylland.

Probable Europa League line-ups for Feyenoord vs Lazio

Feyenoord (4-3-3): Bijlow; Pedersen, Trauner, Rasmussen, Hancko; Timber, Geertruida, Kokcu; Szymanski, Danilo Pereira, Dilrosun.

Lazio (4-3-3): Provedel; Lazzari, Casale, Patric, Hysaj; Milinkovic, Marcos Antonio, Basic; Romero, Felipe Anderson, Zaccagni.
