After regrets in their Conference League opener against Genk, Fiorentina are hoping to secure their first European win of the season against Dejan Stankovic’s Ferencvaros.

The Viola’s first match in the competition was a tense 2-2 draw with Genk, where they took a 2-1 lead before conceding an 85th minute equaliser to leave them bitter in Belgium.

Ferencvaros’ Conference League opener was a comfortable 3-1 win over Cukaricki, putting them top of Group F for the time being.

Fiorentina cannot count on the injured Dodo, Gaetano Castrovilli, Yerry Mina and Niccolo Pierozzi. Cristiano Biraghi is also in doubt due to a left ankle issue. Vincenzo Italiano’s side sit fifth in Serie A, having lost just once in their first seven league games.

Ferencvaros’ only absence is winger Adam Halmai, who suffered a ruptured knee ligament in the summer. Coached by former Inter midfielder Stankovic, the Hungarian side currently sit top of the Nemzeti Bajnoksag table after seven matches.

Probable line-ups

Fiorentina (4-2-3-1): Christensen; Parisi, Martinez Quarta, Ranieri, Biraghi; Maxime Lopez, Mandragora; Gonzalez, Barak, Sottil; Beltran.

Ferencvaros (4-2-3-1): Dibusz; Makreckis, Mmaee, Abena, Ramirez; Abu Fani, Siger; Zachariassen, Ben Romdhane, Marquinos; Varga.
