After a brief delay, Napoli are ready to follow up on their exciting Champions League opener against Liverpool with another tough match against Rangers.

The game between the Partenopei and the Gers kicks off at 20:00 UK time at the Ibrox Stadium in Glasgow.

Luciano Spalletti’s side shined in their first European outing of the season, flying to a thrilling 4-1 win over Liverpool in front of their adoring home fans. The win shot Napoli into prominence across the continent, with supporters across the spectrum now keeping a closer eye on the team.

Rangers’ start was less than stellar – Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side fell to Eredivisie giants Ajax 4-0 in Amsterdam, so they’ll be desperate to redeem themselves with a strong result in Glasgow. They already sit five points behind Celtic in the Scottish Premiership, so victory against Napoli is key for rebuilding their confidence.

Napoli are without star striker Victor Osimhen, Diego Demme and Hirving Lozano, giving Giovanni Simeone the chance to shine again on the European stage.

Rangers coach Van Bronckhorst cannot count on either Ianis Hagi and Nnamdi Ofoborh for the clash.

Probable line-ups for Rangers vs Napoli:

Rangers (4-2-3-1): McGregor; Tavernier, Goldson, Sands, Barisic; Davis, Lundstram; Tillman, Kamara, Kent; Colak.

Napoli (4-3-3): Meret; Di Lorenzo, Rrahmani, Kim, Olivera; Anguissa, Lobotka, Zielinski; Politano, Simeone, Kvaratskhelia.
