Juventus are looking to jumpstart their Champions League campaign in their second group stage clash against Benfica tonight.

The match between the Bianconeri and the Aguias kicks off at 20.00 UK time at the Allianz Stadium in Turin.

Juventus’ European campaign started on the wrong foot as the team struggled to perform in their opener against Paris Saint-Germain, suffering a 2-1 loss in the French capital last week after a first half brace from Kylian Mbappe. A tense 2-2 draw with Salernitana left the Bianconeri licking their wounds, hungry for redemption against Benfica.

Benfica avoided pitfalls in their Champions League opener, beating Israeli side Maccabi Haifa 2-0 at home last week. An upset in Turin tonight would be an important step for the team’s hopes of progressing to the knockout stages of the competition.

Massimiliano Allegri has to manage a number of injuries heading into the game – Alex Sandro, Manuel Locatelli, Adrien Rabiot, Paul Pogba, Federico Chiesa, Kaio Jorge and Marley Ake have all been ruled out, and Angel Di Maria is only fit enough to start on the bench.

Things are a little less complicated for Benfica, who cannot count on the injured Lucas Verissimo, Joao Victor and Morato.

Probable line-ups for Juventus vs Benfica:

Juventus (3-5-2): Perin; Bremer, Bonucci, Danilo; Cuadrado, McKennie, Paredes, Miretti, Kostic; Milik, Vlahovic.

Benfica (4-2-3-1): Vlachodimos; Gilberto, Antonio Silva, Otamendi, Grimaldo; Florentino, Enzo Fernandez; Neres, Rafa Silva, Joao Mario; Gonçalo Ramos.
