“We are enjoying these few days away from football as a detox, because this time it really was tough,” Preziosi told Telenord.

“What I see in my future is certainly me outside of Genoa, because that’s how it should be. There’s time for a beginning and an end, and I think we’ve reached the moment to end.
“For the great joy of those fans who can’t wait to see me gone, I will just say that we are working in that direction, hoping someone steps forward with a serious offer.
“We need a little time to work out how serious the offer is, a few days to check how reliable their information.”
There have also been reports Genoa will part company with Coach Cesare Prandelli after only a few months in charge.
“Prandelli’s future is tied to his own decisions, not mine,” added Preziosi.
