Genoa President Enrico Preziosi hits out at the club’s Ultras – “fortunately 95 per cent of Genoa fans understand my efforts”.
The Grifone are currently languishing in 16th-place in Serie A, though they defeated fellow struggler Palermo 4-0 at the weekend.
The hardcore element of the club’s support have criticised the patron and Coach Gian Piero Gasperini, but the President shrugs off the criticism.

The hardcore element of the club’s support have criticised the patron and Coach Gian Piero Gasperini, but the President shrugs off the criticism.
“To the fans I’m not saying anything, to save some vulgarity,” Gasperini said outside Genoa’s training ground.
“I hear them talk about transparency, but then behind their banners I see people in hoods? I’ll never get agitated over a banner, in fact I’d be surprised if there weren’t any.
“Fortunately 95 per cent of Genoa fans understand my efforts, and those of the Coach.”
Preziosi also ruled out a January move for Aston Villa striker Libor Kozak.
“We had an agreement in principle with Kozak in December, but his agent has informed us it won’t happen.”
