Genoa President Enrico Preziosi dropped a big hint Gian Piero Gasperini will leave to be replaced by Crotone boss Ivan Juric.

Crotone secured their first ever promotion into the top flight last week with Juric at the helm and he has been heavily linked with a move to Marassi.

“I don’t like to talk about club issues with the media. I can just say that on Friday I had dinner with Gasperini and we clarified our positions,” Preziosi told Sky Sport Italia.

“Each of us will make the decision we consider to be the best, hoping that the directions taken will be shared by everyone.”

The President also confirmed Juric is in the pipeline, sooner or later.

“We have many in our staff who were our players for a long time. Juric was with us for five years, giving us the chance to appreciate his work ethic.

“He is without doubt one of the ex-players who could become part of our club one day.”
