Reports emerged this morning that Preziosi, Claudio Lotito of Lazio and Gianluca Paparesta were being investigated by prosecutors in Milan over the sale of television rights. None of the men have been charged with any offence.

Suspicion has been raised about €15m transferred to the Grifone patron from a Swiss bank account, which has since been repaid, but the President insists he’s done nothing wrong.
“Dodgy payments from InFront? It’s absolutely not true,” Preziosi insisted, speaking to Corriere dello Sport.
“It’s a payment of €15m, issued in three instalments from my Swiss bank account, which has been declared to the Italian tax authorities. I’m calm.
“As for the television rights, apart from Fiorentina who abstained, every club was in favour.
“Myself, [Milan CEO Adriano] Galliani and Lotito as the masters of Italian football? Anyone who believes that is a fool. It’s nonsense to think that 17 Presidents are controlled by three people.
“To suggest that [Juventus President Andrea] Agnelli does what Preziosi says is blasphemy. Without the money from InFront, Italian football would have to go back to patronage, as it’s 85 per cent of total revenue.
“I could actually be the victim in this story, I’m curious to see the end of this inquiry.”
