A meeting of the League is taking place today in order to try to find a solution to the ongoing crisis at Stadio Tardini, with the club having failed to play either of their last two games.

The most recent of those fixtures was against the Genoa, and the Grifone chief says he just doesn’t trust the Ducali patron.

“We’re here to solve the Parma situation,” Preziosi told reporters as he arrived for the meeting.

“We have to improve the system. I don’t trust Manenti, he came before the Lega and said that in one or two days he’d sort things out at Parma. Three weeks have passed and nothing is in place.

“He’s not reliable, and we don’t want him here.

“We can’t go through everything with every club, analyse every budget and every single action a President takes, but we should still find solutions so we don’t have another situation where a club has 200 players.

“The FIGC will have to give us some rules, because clubs are being sold for strange figures, like Parma [allegedly sold for €1].

“This would never have happened in England.”
