The Grifone are active on the January transfer market, revamping the squad for new coach Davide Ballardini.

Scamacca has been in the headlines, as he is on loan from Sassuolo, with the Neroverdi confirming they’ve been approached by Juve and many other clubs.

“I am glad people are talking so much about Scamacca, because he is our player and he is staying with us,” Preziosi told reporters as he left the Lega Serie A meeting.

“As for if he’ll stay with us beyond that, I would need a crystal ball to be sure, and I don’t have one of those.”

Juve have also been linked with Shomurodov, the first player from Uzbekistan to score in Serie A.

“I am keeping him, he is a Genoa player and he only just arrived. Besides, Juventus never asked for him. I don’t think it’s time to talk about exits, considering our current position in the table.”

Preziosi also confirmed that Genoa are interested in Atalanta striker Sam Lammers.

“He is a player that we like, we have discussed it. There are also surprises out there and I hope to bring something that will please our coach.”
