The former Roma midfielder has been in France since 2018 and turns 31 next month.
“We are on the right path to close the deal, he just needs a medical now,” Preziosi told Radio 2 before this evening’s Serie A match against Bologna.
“I am very satisfied, because I know the man is reliable as well as the player.”
