“The new situation tells us that there’s no spectators, that we must be careful, that there’s the possibility of getting infected and that not all players can play.
“It’s something new that we can only overcome with the help of the health care. You have to be patient and manage the situation.”
Genoa have invested heavily in the team this summer, as Preziosi wants to help the side avoid a new relegation battle.
“We have come from two terrible years with the risk of relegation, the least we can do is try not to make mistakes.
“Football is something imponderable, we hope to have done things well.”
The patron, who reiterated that the Grifoni are for sale ahead of the new season, joked when he was asked if there was anything he would have done differently if he could turn back time.
