Mattia Destro could reportedly stay at Genoa as the triple swap deal between the Grifone and Spezia has been put on hold, it’s reported.

The Italian striker was supposed to join Spezia with Kevin Agudelo and with M’Bala Nzola moving the opposite way.

However, according to Sky Sport Italia, Genoa President Enrico Preziosi put the deal on hold after that Spezia tried to include Adrian Semper in the deal.

Genoa have also changed their mind about Destro and want him to stay at Marassi now.

Agudeo could still join Thiago Motta’s side, but at the moment, the triple swap deal between the two Serie A clubs is likely to collapse.
