La Gazzetta dello Sport reveals the Permier League duo are interested in the 24-year-old, who signed a deal until June 2024 in Sardinia.

The newspaper claims the central midfielder could be on his way already, as his current contract includes a €36m release clause.

Gazzetta claims the Rossoblu President Tommaso Giulini will not be willing to negotiate the price tag and the English clubs must trigger the clause to make the proposed move happen.

Nandez has been a vital member of the Casteddu squad in his first season with the club, contributing two goals and four assists in 34 Serie A matches so far.

Cagliari signed him for €18m from Boca Juniors last summer and were reportedly trying to remove the release clause from his contract earlier by signing new terms with the player earlier this season.
