Multiple Premier League clubs are interested in Paulo Dybala, but Roma aren’t willing to lose the Argentine star without a fight.

The 30-year-old forward seemingly opened to the door to a move to England or Spain when speaking with The Athletic on Thursday, admitting he’s ‘curious’ about the idea of playing in the Premier League or La Liga.

Dybala has just over a year left on his current contract with Roma, which includes a €12m release clause for clubs outside of Serie A. The club are keen to set up a new contract, appreciating his important goal contributions and creativity.

Dybala situation

Transfer market pundit Matteo Moretto provided an update on the Paulo Dybala situation at Roma via Caught Offside.

Various unnamed Premier League clubs are keeping a close eye on the 30-year-old Argentinian star ahead of the summer, aware of his €12m release clause. For now, there’s no confirmations regarding the alleged interest of Atletico Madrid and Barcelona.

Roma don’t want to lose the forward and will try to convince him of the project in the Italian capital in an upcoming meeting, believing him to be a key part of Daniele De Rossi’s squad.
