Perr Schuurs is beginning to attract the attention of multiple clubs around Europe after a string of impressive displays for Torino over recent months and reports claim that a number of teams in England are preparing to make an offer for the Dutchman in the summer.

Newcastle, with their newfound wealth, have been linked with an attempt to lure Schuurs away from Torino for several weeks already, where he could line up next to compatriot Sven Botman if he were to move to Tyneside.

According to Calciomercato, Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool are also interested in Schuurs, where he could also play alongside a fellow Dutchman in Virgil van Dijk.

Both options would likely provide an increase in wages and offer European football of some variety, with Newcastle set to return to the Champions League under Eddie Howe and Liverpool looking increasingly likely to feature in the Europa League next season.

Schuurs only joined Torino in the summer of 2022 for a fee of around €9 million, but in that time has seen his valuation more than double.

The 23-year-old has impressed in that time, increasingly so in recent weeks, and was named in the Serie A team of the week after his impressive performance during Il Toro’s 1-0 win over Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico on Saturday evening.
