Arsenal, Tottenham, Manchester United and Chelsea renew their offers after the collapse of a Mirko Vucinic-Fredy Guarin swap.

The deal had already been done before furious fan protests prompted Inter to pull out of the exchange, releasing a statement this evening confirming it was over.

It’s reported Guarin was furious and was determined to push through the transfer to Juventus, even threatening to go on strike.

The Colombian’s position at the club is now very difficult and he’s likely to be sold abroad to raise cash for a new forward.

With this in mind, Tottenham and Chelsea can renew their interest in Guarin and be in a considerably stronger position than a few weeks ago.

The price-tag remains around €15m, but Guarin could lower his wage demands in order to push through an Inter exit.

Juventus are also eager to be rid of Vucinic and the Montenegro international had to drive back to Turin tonight after the move to Inter suddenly collapsed.

He had previously been linked with Arsenal and Manchester United, who can now make a new offer safe in the knowledge the Bianconeri are prepared to sell.
