The Prefect of Campania has outlined his reason for postponing tomorrow’s Coppa Italia semi final second leg between Napoli and Inter. “It wouldn’t have been possible to identify which regions the fans come from.”
The announcement was made earlier this morning that the game was postponed, following Juventus and Milan’s game also being postponed yesterday.

The Prefect of Campania, Marco Valentini, outlined why the game was postponed.
“During the meeting of the Provincial Committee for public order and safety, the probable influx of fans was highlighted,” noted Valentini.
“It would not have been possible to identify the exact region in which an individual was from. “
An estimated 40,000 tickets had already been sold for the second leg, in which Napoli lead 1-0 on aggregate.
It’s unknown at this stage when the Coppa Italia matches will be played.
