Thiago Motta arrives for first day in charge of Juventus.

Thiago Motta has selected all four of his summer signings to start against Atletico Madrid in their final pre-season friendly of the summer, as Michele Di Gregorio takes his spot in goal, with Juan Cabal at left-back and Khephren Thuram and Douglas Luiz in midfield.

The game is being played on neutral turf in Goteborg, Sweden, kicking off at 14.00 UK time.

Thiago Motta has taken a relatively small travelling squad with him to Scandinavia, leaving more than 10 of last season’s first-team regulars at home, including the unwanted Federico Chiesa, Wojciech Szczesny, Weston McKennie, Arkadiusz Milik and Fliip Kostic.

The vast majority of players who have not travelled have been made available on the transfer market.

It looks to be a 4-2-3-1 system for Juventus, with Douglas Luiz expected to be deployed slightly further up the pitch than Thuram and Manuel Locatelli.

Timothy Weah, who has impressed during pre-season, starts on the wing with Kenan Yildiz lining up on the opposite flank.
