The Viola host Verona at the Artemio Franchi tomorrow and Prandelli, who wanted ‘more of the same energy’ from the 1-1 draw against Sassuolo, has been impressed by their opponents under Juric’s reign.
“It’s a side that worry many teams and we are also very worried,” Prandelli said at a press conference. “All the players have embraced the philosophy of the coach.
“Maybe the team risks something, but I really like the shameless mentality he has. Juric was good at getting into the minds of his players.
“The future of football must be addressed in this mentality.”
Sofyan Amrabat moved from Hellas Verona to Fiorentina last summer and Prandelli praised the work rate of the midfielder ahead of the game against his former club.
“I would never want to take Amrabat’s characteristics away from him,” the coach said. “He recovers so many balls.
“Every player has to improve, but for now I’ll keep him as he is.”
