Reports in Italy claim former Napoli and Juventus coach Sarri has been targeted for the summer, and Radio Anch’io suggested the two coaches could work together.

“Staying with Sarri? It seems like fantasy football,” Prandelli told Radio Anch’io. “When we met with the directors, we talked about football for three hours.

“Then we reached an agreement in 30 seconds. I told the club that I have no requests whatsoever, except to work to be an important coach for Fiorentina.

“And I added: ‘In two or there months you will be asking me to renew the contract’. In Florence, I found people who are trying to start a family.”

Prandelli’s men face Benevento on November 22 and currently sit 12th in Serie A, having picked up eight points in seven League games.
