Former Italy CT Cesare Prandelli has been sacked by Al-Nasr, the Emirati club has confirmed.

The former midfielder has struggled since stepping down from the Azzurri job after the 2014 World Cup, managing just 16 games at Galatasaray immediately after that.

Last season brought 10 games at Valencia, but the Italian resigned as he was unhappy over the transfer strategy.

In May 2017 Prandelli was appointed manager of Emirates Arabian Gulf League club Al-Nasr Dubai, but after five wins in 12 league games he’s been received of his duties.
